William III overmantel mirror with a triple bevelled, scrolled and divided plate, the frame applied with scrolling foliage, the angles with ribbon-tied flowerheads and foliage suspended from eaglesę masks, the cresting carved with auricular scolls centred by an espagnolette mask, with traces of earlier painted decoration, the back of the toprail recessed to accommodate a picture stretcher, inscribed in blue chalk to reverse '4981' and in pencil 'School Room'.
